WEEK 3: Enrich Your Soul

WORKBOOK SECTION:

Be guided through five personality assessments so you can better understand how you think and interpret the world around you.

1) AUDIT: What you meditate on

How do you develop your inner life? This week is the GOLD in My New Rich Life! So many personal development coaches talk about how our spiritual lives are important but do very little to help guide you in developing this area of your life other than saying it’s important to meditate. In this training you will learn how to meditate and how to effectively plan and develop your inner life for growth and improvement.

You will learn about four overlooked disciplines to effectively engage your soul and how to implement them in your daily life.

“The is no way that we can live a rich life unless we are willing to suffer repeatedly, experiencing depression and despair, fear and anxiety, grief and sadness, anger and the agony of forgiving, confusion and doubt, criticism and rejection. A life lacking these emotional upheavals will not only be useless to ourselves; it will be useless to others. We cannot heal without being willing to be hurt” —Dr. Scott Peck

The most under-rated book in the world, the Bible. You will see how to implement it’s time-tested teachings in a way that’s not weird or only for those in a monastery.

You will learn how Prayer & Meditation can be effectively implemented in your life for actual change and improvement.

2) PROFIT & LOSS: Your Relationships

Where other personal development coaches fear to tread, we dive deep into your relationship with your Self. With God. With Others.

3) INVEST:

You will put together your own Personal Spiritual Growth Plan to see actual change in the next 90 days in your three most important relationships.

4) Interview: James Cofield, co-author of The Relational Soul, professional counselor for thirty years

WEEK 4: Enrich Your Life

WORKBOOK SECTION:

Hour Tracking Calendar, Hourly Planning Center, Vision Board Template*

Esse quam videri

“Christ said, “Go and give all you have to the poor and become the servant of all,” for if you do that, you’ll become a thousand times richer because your happiness won’t be made just of good food, rich clothes, satisfied vanity, and appeased envy. Instead it will be built on love, love multiplied by love without end. And then you will gain not just riches, but the whole world!” — FYODOR DOSTOYEVSKY

1) BALANCE: How do you spend your time?

Matt will walk you through a clear and actionable plan to evaluate how you actually spend your time. You will be ruthless when it comes to considering your habits and routines throughout the day.

2) PROFIT & LOSS: Moving forward

1) In light of your purpose from the first week, you will put together a plan for measurable and lasting growth and self-improvement. You will consider all three areas of mind, body, and soul, to have a holistic plan in place to lasting change.

3) INVEST: Create your Ideal Week

“To live a spiritual life we must first find the courage to enter into the desert of our loneliness and to change it by gentle and persistent efforts into a garden of solitude. This requires not only courage but also a strong faith. As hard as it is to believe that the dry desolate desert can yield endless varieties of flowers, it is equally hard to imagine that our loneliness is hiding unknown beauty. The movement from loneliness to solitude, however, is the beginning of any spiritual life because it is a movement from the restless senses to the restful spirit, from the outward-reaching cravings to the inward-reaching search, from the fearful clinging to the fearless play.” — Henri Nouwen

4) Interview: Matt Perman, best selling author of What’s Best Next and Unstuck
